A new Dutch safety initiative designed to make everyday life safer and more connected for women, girls — and anyone who feels unsafe no matter where they are.

The Safety App was created to make safety visible, accessible, and community-driven. It brings together people, businesses, and public services to help women, girls, and anyone who feels unsafe — wherever they are.

Across the Netherlands, selected locations will soon be recognized as verified SafeZones — trusted places connected to the Safety Network. Each SafeZone is personally reviewed and verified before being added, ensuring reliability and real-world safety for women, girls, and anyone who feels unsafe.

People and organizations who believe safety should be visible and tangible in everyday life.
